Specialized Garden-Tree Care for Central Texas

Austin Maples & Garden Trees was created to provide knowledgeable, detail-oriented care for the trees that give a garden its character. We specialize in Japanese maples, Japanese black pines and other ornamental and specimen trees that require a more thoughtful approach than ordinary trimming.

Our services include tree-health consultations, selective pruning and shaping, seasonal maintenance, planting, transplanting, soil improvement and fertilization. Every tree and property is evaluated individually so our recommendations reflect the species, growing conditions and customer’s long-term goals. Our focus is preserving natural form while improving structure, health and lasting beauty.

Owner Ryan brings more than 10 years of hands-on plant-care experience and a longstanding passion for bonsai. Working with maples, pines, junipers, hollies, fruiting trees and other species has developed his understanding of how trees respond to pruning, root work, soil conditions, watering and the challenges of the Central Texas climate.

Although Japanese maples are sometimes considered unsuitable for Texas, carefully selected varieties can thrive when properly placed and maintained. Sun exposure, soil drainage, watering and protection from reflected heat all play important roles. We help customers understand these requirements and develop a practical care plan for their property.

In addition to tree-care services, we source and deliver carefully selected Japanese maples, Japanese black pines, bonsai and distinctive specimen garden trees. We work with trusted nursery partners and can assist with selection, placement, delivery and professional installation.

Austin Maples & Garden Trees is an appointment-based service-area business serving residential and commercial properties throughout Austin and surrounding Central Texas communities. Our goal is to provide personalized care, honest recommendations and ongoing support that help exceptional trees thrive for years to come.
