Tree Delivery
We provide local delivery of Japanese maples, Japanese Black Pines and other specimen garden trees purchased through Austin Maples & Garden Trees. Trees are transported with care to help protect trunks, branches and root systems during delivery.
Site & Planting-Hole Preparation
Proper planting begins with preparing the site for the individual tree. We evaluate planting depth, drainage, existing soil conditions and available space before preparing the planting area.
Tree Placement
Each tree is positioned with consideration for its best viewing angle, mature size, sunlight exposure and relationship to the surrounding landscape. For specimen trees, proper orientation can be just as important as planting location.
Soil Amendment
When appropriate, we address soil conditions around the planting area to support healthy root establishment. Recommendations are based on the existing soil, drainage and requirements of the tree rather than using a one-size-fits-all amendment.
Installation
Specimen trees are installed at the proper depth and positioned to showcase their natural character while providing room for future growth. Larger trees can be handled with specialized equipment when necessary for safe placement and installation.
Initial Watering & Aftercare
Newly installed trees receive an initial watering to settle the root zone and begin the establishment process. We provide customers with watering and aftercare recommendations based on the tree, season and site conditions.
